Udyog Aadhar/MSME registration refers to the previous MSME department registration system, which generated a UAM Number (Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum Number). MSME Registration / Udyog Aadhar has been transferred to a new platform named Udyam Registration as of July 1, 2020.
You must migrate to Udyam Registration even if you already got MSME Registration / Udyog Aadhar. As of July 1, 2020, MSME Registration / Udyog Aadhar will no longer be valid, thus you must get Udyam Registration.
