The Government of India has introduced a new online portal called Udyam Registration to replace the previous Udyog Aadhar registration system. Udyam is a one-time registration process for MSMEs in India, and it provides a unique identification number called Udyam Registration Number (URN) to each registered enterprise.

If you have registered for Udyog Aadhar in the past and wish to migrate to the new Udyam Aadhar system you can do it.

It is important to note that MSMEs registered under the Udyog Aadhar scheme before 30th June 2020 will need to migrate to the new Udyam Portal before 31st March 2021. Failure to migrate to the new system before the deadline may result in the cancellation of your Udyog Aadhaar registration.

The process of migrating from Udyog Aadhar to Udhyam Aadhar is simple and can be in less time. You can complete the process online, and it involves entering your Udyog Aadhaar number, verifying your enterprise details, and submitting the application. Migrating to Udyam will ensure that your MSME is eligible for various government schemes, incentives, and subsidies.
